Dr. A is currently researching the impact of technology on individuals (adolescence through adulthood). Her specific interests are focused on how video games impact developmental, social, and behavioral functioning. Dr. A has published research on the perceived impact of players gaming behaviors on attaining and maintaining employment including transferrable skills learned from video games that can be applied in the workplace. Dr. A has also provided multiple seminars, webinars, and educational opportunities within communities to learn more about the positive and negative impact of gaming and how best to address these impacts in the mental health field.
